GreyScreen performance: 7:00 PM
Afterparty: 8:00-10:00 PM

If our latest exhibition, Three Dimensions by Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins, had a soundtrack, what would it be? Inspired by Marman and Borins's exploration of gamification and technology, Contemporary Calgary has invited local artist GreyScreen (Kevin Stebner) to perform a chiptune set in response to the exhibition.

Please join us for an evening of chiptune (music inspired by video game soundtracks), lasers, and some 80s and 90s throwback fun.

GreyScreen's performance will be followed by a reception in the Flanagan Family Gallery Hall. The exhibition will be open late so you can try your hand at the claw crane machine, or try the Devo helmet to interact with some digital works.

Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase before and after the performance with 80s-inspired cocktails.

About the performer,
GreyScreen (Kevin Stebner)

Kevin Stebner is a multi-disciplinary writer, musician, and artist from Calgary, Alberta. Related to his chiptune project GreyScreen, much of Stebner's artistic installation and exhibition work produces visual art and sound interactives using and manipulating old videogame gear, turning nostalgia in new ways, producing a number of shows and partnerships with the EPCOR Centre, Beakerhead Arts Festival, among others.
