Description
New Works is proud to present, in partnership with Mardon + Mitsuhashi, the full-length world premiere of good loser, on November 20 & 21, 2026 at The Roundhouse Community Centre. An exhilarating duet between a dancer and drummer, this dynamic performance is a highly-physical scored improvisation, where the performers work virtuously to stay present to the continuous unfolding moment. From impactful gestures to whimsical storytelling, and making a mess out of it all, the heart of this piece is an attempt to stay afloat amongst the compounding effects of global and personal losses: to dedicate themselves to life’s work of becoming a good loser.
