Keirokai is a Japanese holiday that honours seniors (80+).

 

This year’s Golden Maple speaker, author and artist Christopher Takashi Robertson, captures this respect for his ancestors in his book, Senda Kinoshita Nikkei Histories: Issei, Nisei and Sansei Canadian Experiences. Celebrate storytelling, history and community at this special evening, Friday, Sept. 25, 2026.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. 

Cash Bar: An on-site cash, debit, and credit card bar will be available.
