GlobalFest 2026: Calgary's International Fireworks, Drone Show, and Cultural Festival August 27-30 at Spruce Meadows 

GlobalFest is back with a new home, a bigger spark, and four nights of culture, flavour, and celebration at Spruce Meadows in Calgary.

What to Expect

Each night features a world-class fireworks show and drone show choreographed to music, cultural pavilions, live performances, international food vendors, themed food and beverages, interactive experiences, a kids zone, night market shopping, and unique activations across the entire festival grounds.

Every evening is themed to a different part of the world:
Thursday, August 27: Japan
Friday, August 28: Mexico
Saturday, August 29: Italy
Sunday, August 30: GlobalFinale

Wander through a reimagined festival site filled with food, vendors, live cultural programming, interactive experiences, and spaces built for connection, discovery, and celebration.

With more room to explore, free parking, and a fresh new setting, GlobalFest is designed to feel bigger, brighter, and more memorable from the moment you arrive.

Each night builds toward a breathtaking finale as the sky over Spruce Meadows comes alive to celebrate culture, community, and this iconic Calgary tradition.

Getting There (FREE PARKING)

Spruce Meadows is located at 18011 Spruce Meadows Way SW, Calgary, AB. Free general admission parking is available on site but spaces are limited so arrive as early as possible. Premium parking and valet options are available at checkout with VIP ticket purchases. The venue is accessible from Stoney Trail, Macleod Trail, and Highway 22X.

Good to Knows

Gates open at 5:00 PM. Fireworks and drone shows begin at approximately 9:30 PM. The festival runs rain or shine. No outside food, beverages, alcohol, drones, or pets allowed. Full accessibility support is available including companion tickets and mobility assistance.
