So, you've finished your film - now what?? Join filmmaker Joanne Fisher for this presentation for emerging independent creators, guiding participants through the next steps for their creative project once the picture is locked and the credit crawl has rolled.

Joanne Fisher is a Calgary-based independent animator and emerging filmmaker. A former student of the Alberta University of the Arts, Joanne discovered her love of making animation at the Quickdraw Animation Society and, with the help of the CJM Memorial Scholarship and Residency, created her animated short film, Stache and the Inner Walk, which has screened at festivals worldwide.

Working with different media under camera, her approach to animation is hands-on, messy, and experimental.

Although this workshop is primarily geared toward animated films, filmmakers of all styles are welcomed and encouraged to attend!
