We’re expanding to bring you even more frightful fun, spine-chilling thrills, immersive scare zones and pulse-pounding horror designed especially for teens and adults.

With hundreds of new immersive experiences and surprises lurking around every corner, there’s something to keep everyone on their toes. And the best part? You get to choose your own spooky journey! Thanks to Haunted Calgary, you can tailor your evening to match your comfort level. Whether you’re in the mood for light-hearted family fun or adrenaline-pumping jump scares, the choice is yours.

Fun for all ages, something wicked is around each corner perfectly designed for each and every ghost and goblin – feast your eyes on the Necromancer, Flix the Clown, Hatchet, Moth Man…and more…

How It Works

Each scare zone is marked by distinct coloured lighting and signage, allowing guests to easily identify the intensity of the experience:

  • Green Zone: Perfect for families and those who like light-hearted Halloween fun. Expect playful decorations and friendly characters!

Ghouls’ Night Haunted Sites

Wander through the Park and encounter eerie spider webs, spooky graveyards, and eerily lit steam trains – as you explore the Spookier side of some of your favourite exhibits and attractions.

Know Before You Go

  • Event Access: When guests arrive at the Park, they can proceed to the front gates of the Park. Guests should have their printed or digital ticket ready to be scanned by our front gate staff. Once your ticket is scanned, you will be granted access into the Historical Village, where Ghouls' Night Out takes place.
  • Parking: Parking is not included in the ticket prices, but paid parking is available at the Park. The Park Plus Zone Number is 8320. The Daytime rate is $10 for the first seven hours, and $10 per hour thereafter to a maximum of $30. The evening rate from 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. is a $5 flat rate; vehicles must be removed by 9 a.m. Learn more about parking  here.
  • Getting to Heritage Park: There are plenty of ways to get to the Park, whether that be on foot, via transit, or driving. Click here to find the way that works for you!
  • Choose How Scary Your Experience Is: Ghouls’ Night Out is geared towards families, so it won’t be too spooky for young children! Of course, every child is different, so keep your little one’s fright tolerance in mind. The best part is, with the colour-coded scare zones, you can choose how scary of an experience you want, from lighthearted and family-friendly to scream-inducing, there’s something for every ghoul and goblin.
  • Inclement Weather: Ghouls’ Night Out will go ahead rain or shine, so dress accordingly! Some of the programming at Ghouls’ Night Out will be weather-dependent.
  • What to Wear: We encourage you to get all decked out in your Halloween costume for Ghouls’ Night Out! Please make sure you dress for the weather and wear a good pair of walking shoes, as there are several different types of terrain throughout Heritage Park. Bring a flashlight, as this event will take place in the evening, and consider a stroller or wagon for your little ones as there’s a lot of ground to cover!
  • Annual Members and Heritage Club Members: Annual Members and Heritage Club Members do not get a discount on Ghouls’ Night Out.
  • Canoo Members: Canoo Members do not get a discount on Ghouls’ Night Out.
  • Fair Entry Fee Assistance Program: Discounted admission is not available through the Fair Entry Fee Assistance program for Ghouls' Night Out.
  • Refund Policy: All tickets to Ghouls' Night Out are non-refundable and non-transferable to a future date.
