Description

Get ready ghosts and goblins, Ghouls' Night Out Halloween event is returning to Calgary’s Heritage Park! Pick out your costumes, gather the family and get ready to experience this wildly popular, safe and fun-filled Halloween event for all ages.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at the front gate of the Historical Village on Sunday, Oct. 30. Tickets are completely sold out for Oct. 29, including purchases at the front gate.

Escape Annual Membership Holders do not receive a discount on this event.

Do Annual Membership holders receive free admission or a discounted admission to Ghouls' Night Out?

No, Annual Membership holders, both Escape and Express, do not receive free admission or a discounted admission to Ghouls' Night Out.

Is Ghouls’ Night Out too scary for young children?

Absolutely not! Ghouls’ Night Out is geared towards families, so it won’t be too spooky for young children! Of course, every child is different, so keep your little one’s fright tolerance in mind.

Is the Historical Village open all day during the event?

No, the Historical Village is only open during the event itself, which lasts from 6 - 9 pm on Oct. 28 and 29, and 5 - 8 pm on Oct. 30.

If I have Fair Entry status, do I get a discounted admission to Ghouls' Night Out?

Unfortunately, Fair Entry does not apply to ticketed events like Ghouls' Night Out, and therefore we cannot provide discounted admission to Ghouls' Night Out to those who are Fair Entry status.

If I have a CANOO pass, do I get free admission to Ghouls' Night Out?

Unfortunately, CANOO passes do not apply to ticketed events like Ghouls' Night Out, and therefore we cannot provide free admission to Ghouls' Night Out to those who are CANOO pass holders.

Will there be trick-or-treating this year?

Not this year, but we know your little ones will be wanting candy, and we’ve prepared for that! Pay a visit to the Claresholm General Store, the NEW Scream Parlour and the Trick or Treatery for all your sugary needs!

Where in Heritage Park does the event take place?

Ghouls’ Night Out takes place throughout Heritage Park, both indoors and outdoors.

Is parking included?

Parking is not included in the ticket prices, but it is available at the Park. If you’re an Escape Annual Membership holder, parking at Heritage Park is free!

What’s the plan for inclement weather?

Ghouls’ Night Out will go ahead rain or shine, so dress accordingly! Some of the programming at Ghouls’ Night Out will be weather-dependent.

What should I wear and bring to the event?

We encourage you to get all decked out in your Halloween costume for Ghouls’ Night Out! Please make sure you dress for the weather and wear a good pair of walking shoes, as there are several different types of terrain throughout Heritage Park. Bring a flashlight, as this event will take place in the evening, and consider a stroller or wagon for your little ones as there’s a lot of ground to cover!

How does purchasing a ticket support Heritage Park?

As a registered charity, all proceeds from Ghouls’ Night Out will allow Heritage Park to continue bringing the history of Western Canada to life.
