Ghostkeeper
Local art rock band Ghostkeeper embodies an avant-garde semblance while experimenting with a wide variety of genres, uniting country, indie rock, and world music fans through their pleasantly unique sound.

Set to release on May 27, Ghostkeeper returns with “Multidimensional Culture” - their first record in five years. Based around core members Shane Ghostkeeper and Sarah Houle, the highly anticipated release aims to capture deeply introspective questions of life following the newfound experience of the two becoming parents.

Pursuing influences like afro-psychedelia, traditional Metis music and proto-punk, the band never fails to sculpt an assortment of influences into a beautifully cohesive sound.

Hermitess
The Hermitess is the solo project of songwriter and harpist Jennifer Crighton, who comes by way of various other musical incarnations, including The Consonant C and Devonian Gardens. Stripping back the performance to a harp and a circle of women's voices, the Hermitess is an inquisitive, contrary, wounded, wise and ever dreaming incantation.

Ginger Beef
Classically trained flutist Jiajia Li joins producer MSG for Ginger Beef, an experimental indie pop duo. The act had its debut at Camp Sled Island in 2021 where the debut single “Flashback” was released. Now available on Bandcamp, the song teases a playful sound tinged with ‘80s synths and boogie bass beneath flute that hints at lounge jazz and Chinese folk music. - https://www.sledisland.com/
