Hollywood Theatre is rounding out it's Studio Ghibli summer series with a rare and unforgettable live performance by the Ghibli Jazz Orchestra—an 18-piece ensemble led by Isabel Leong and composed of Vancouver-based musicians united by their love of Studio Ghibli, anime, and video game soundtracks. Due to popular demand, we have added a second show!

This one-night-only event brings to life the iconic scores of Joe Hisaishi, reimagined through the soulful lens of jazz. From Spirited Away to My Neighbor Totoro, expect rich arrangements—many crafted in-house by the musicians themselves—that pay tribute to the magic, emotion, and wonder of Ghibli’s cinematic universe.

Performances by this ensemble are few and far between—and they always sell out. Don’t miss your chance to experience these beloved themes as you’ve never heard them before.
