On Tuesday, September 29, the Guelph Film Festival is taking over Royal City Brewing Co. (The Ward Room) for a Movie Trivia Night Fundraiser!

Think you know your blockbusters, cult classics, famous quotes, and unforgettable characters? Come battle it out solo, bring your own cast, or crew-up with fellow film fans when you arrive.

Every ticket directly supports the 2026 Guelph Film Festival, helping us bring incredible independent films, vital conversations, and community programming to Guelph.

About Our Sliding Scale

We want everyone to enjoy trivia night! Please choose the tier that best fits your current financial situation. Our standard ticket cost is $40. If you are able to pay $50, you help us keep our events sustainable and accessible. If things are tight right now, please feel free to select the $30 or $20 options.

The Executive Producer — $50

• Individual Admission. Generously funds our cause, supports our event goals, and subsidizes lower-cost tickets for others.

The Main Character — $40

• Individual Admission. The true cost of entry. Covers your seat and directly supports the festival.

The Supporting Actor — $30

• Individual Admission. A discounted tier for those who want to support but have a tighter budget.

The Film Student — $20

• Individual Admission. Reserved for students.
