Getaway Van (Vancouver) // open.spotify.com/artist/6np6e9h4njdG5YXlpsv4yO
WE ARE GETAWAY VAN. FUZZ FILLED STONER BLUES ROCK TO AURALLY ENSNARE. HEAVY CYMBALS, RIFF-TASTIC GUITARS, AND BADASS, EXPLOSIVE BASS. ROCK N ROLL THAT YOU CAN'T NOT LISTEN TO. "GET IN THE VAN NOW"
SX70 (Vancouver) // soundcloud.com/sx70music/tracks
SX70 is James Filbry (guitar, vocals), Jim Keller (bass, vocals) and Jono Saye (drums, sampler). A genre-bending outfit rooted in their love for purple and paisley. Never typical, always captivating, SX70 is ripping a new hole in independent pop.
Hippie Satan (Vancouver) // open.spotify.com/artist
Hippie Satan is a fuschia-inspired limerick like art house band with German influences.
Our intention for our shows are to include the most kinesthetic experience for the audience, with such, we are an offline band without social media influence. By definition we are a two part group but we can extend to 4 depending on the venue.
Jarrod Tyler (Vancouver) // www.jarrodtyler.com
Jarrod Tyler is a songwriter, novelist, documentary filmmaker—perhaps the last of the stark-raving semantic fools. Aside from nearly every venue in Vancouver…the JTB has played illustrious venues in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, JT had the opportunity to record in Studio 3 at EastWest Studios; the same studio in which the Beach Boys recorded their Pet Sounds Album. Subsequently Tyler released his inspired single “Audrey” on iTunes—to date his best-selling song. Most recently Tyler and a crew of rogue art advocates spent a number of months filming a documentary about North Bend Washington—the stranger than fiction town in which Twin Peaks seasons 1, 2 and 3 were filmed. The band will appear December 8th at the legendary Railway Club to showcase songs from the new album that will be released in early 2019.
