SHANNEYGANOCK

Shanneyganock is a household name in Newfoundland, and across the country. They have received several ECMA and MusicNL awards and nominations, headlined at major festivals around the world, and toured across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and even the North Pole. Shanneyganock’s music not only spreads and preserves the music and songs of Newfoundland and Labrador, it also inspired the Tony-nominated score for “Come From Away.'' In 2020, Shanneyganock was awarded the Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award at the ECMAs. They are still wowing crowds around the world 25 years after band leaders Chris Andrews and Mark Hiscock came together. The band includes bass player Ian Chipman, fiddle player Patrick Moran, guitarist Craig Young, and drummer Brad Tuck.

DERINA HARVEY BAND

Derina Harvey leads the award-winning Celtic Rock sensation, the Derina Harvey Band (dHb). Derina’s vibrant personality takes center stage with humor, storytelling, and, of course, her world class vocals, with a show that offers fresh takes on traditional folk songs as well as original material, dHb has been likened to a “rockier” version of Canada’s Great Big Sea, if fronted by Adele, and has earned a reputation as a high-energy live show that leaves many an audience out-of-breath and hollering from their seats!

dHb concerts can be adapted to suit any venue; whether it’s a captivating night of telling stories through song in a Performing Arts Center, or a dinner and dance in a community hall. The band has been across Canada via the performing arts and festival circuits and is now poised to take the United States by storm, having been very well-received at five juried US showcases (Arts Northwest (Best in Showcase Award), Western Arts Alliance, Performing Arts Exchange, Ohio Arts Professional Network, and NC ArtsMarket). The group has performed in eight US states so far, and will add many more to that list, with the next US tours slated for March/April of 2024 in the southeastern states.

dHb released their latest album “Waves of Home” in June, 2023 and it was received amazingly by their global fan base. The band enjoys a huge wave of online followers from across the globe - a following which exploded when their recording of Tom Lewis’s “The Last Shanty” was used in thousands of videos on TikTok, introducing the band to a whole new generation of listeners and causing their streaming numbers to skyrocket to over 70 million total streams - and adding about 2 million more every month! The band's dedication to touring across Canada has not gone unnoticed in their home region of Atlantic Canada - they are nominated for a 2024 East Coast Music Award in the "Fans' Choice Entertainer of the Year” category.
