Description

Five-piece indie folk band Miina and musical chameleon Brock Geiger hit the legendary King Eddy stage with special guest Dana Sipos on March 27, presented by Gateway Events.

About Miina:

Miina’s sound is more than music; it’s a movement toward connection, care for the planet and a more open-hearted world. Having begun her musical career as the frontperson of Victoria’s Carmanah, Dream-pop artist MIINA continues her solo journey with the release of her debut full-length album, Where The Light Goes, due out March 20, 2026. Produced by an all-star team, Howard Redekopp (Mother Mother, Tegan and Sara), Erik P.H. Nielsen (City and Colour) and Gus Van Go (The Beaches, Metric), the album marks a bold and exciting new chapter.

In addition, MIINA has opened for celebrated artists such as k.d. lang, Shakey Graves, Sam Roberts, Bedouin Soundclash and Moontricks. A captivating live performer, whether it be solo or with an accompanying band, she consistently holds her own alongside some of the industry’s most respected names. Her music builds community, with each performance a gathering of hearts, rooted in authenticity, compassion and shared human experience.

About Brock Geiger:

Brock Geiger is a musical chameleon. Over the last decade, he has established himself as a mainstay on the Canadian scene and beyond — as a collaborator on nearly fifty records, and has toured world-wide with a long list of artists. Brock's new collection of music shines an overdue spotlight on a penchant for refined song-craft, ambitious production, and showcases a singular creative vision.

About Dana Sipos:

Known for crafting music that is both intimate and otherworldly, acclaimed Canadian songwriter Dana Sipos’ talent for earthen imagery, rich spiraling vocals, and textured instrumentation sets the stage for a deeply moving performance. She has brought her cosmic folk to living rooms, concert halls and festival stages across North America, Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Golden Molten, a new collection of captivating songs that holds the complexity of the human experience up to the light, will be released in January 2026.
