Description

Join GIRAF20 visiting artist Victoria Vincent for an afternoon of creative road-mapping.

About the Workshop:

Stuck on what to make next? Victoria Vincent will lead participants through a series of creativity-boosting exercises designed to get to the “core” of your next great idea. With demonstrations of Victoria’s process, explore childhood memories, overcoming fear, and why you’re making your next artistic project. This workshop’s purpose is to push past a lack of motivation, and to flex your artistic muscles to use your experiences for (artistic) Good.

About the Instructor:

Victoria Vencent (@Vewn_) is a prolific contemporary animator and director with over 20 short films in her filmography, including previous GIRAF festival favourites Cat City (2017), Twins in Paradise (2020), and Nothing to Hide (Bad Kids Stuff) (2023). She has collaborated with Jonni Peppers @jonnipeppers and worked with the animation production company Titmouse. Her distorted environments and beautifully existential-chaotic plots have resonated with her audience resulting in over 80 million views on YouTube and 250k followers on Instagram.

Space is limited. Don't miss this remarkable opportunity to tap into your creative mind with Vewn!
