From Crowd to Comedian is a FREE interactive stand-up comedy workshop featuring professional comedians Mick Neven, Lars Callieou, and Nicky Wilkinson.

Whether you've always wanted to try stand-up, are curious about the comedy industry, or simply want to challenge yourself with something new, this workshop will give you an inside look at both the creative and business sides of comedy. No previous comedy experience is necessary.

Meet the Comedians

Mick Neven

Australian comedian Mick Neven has more than 20 years of experience performing at comedy clubs and festivals around the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Known for his sharp observational comedy and energetic delivery, Mick brings decades of international stand-up experience to the workshop.

Lars Callieou

Fort St. John-born comedian Lars Callieou has performed across Canada and internationally, with credits including Just for Laughs, CBC, and The Comedy Network. With years of experience performing, touring, and working within the comedy industry, Lars brings plenty of practical knowledge to aspiring comedians.

Nicky Wilkinson

UK-born and now based in Australia, Nicky Wilkinson has performed throughout the UK, Asia, and Australia, including appearances at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Known for her quick wit, relatable comedy, and engaging stage presence, Nicky brings her own perspective and experience to the workshop.
