Join us at The Vault at Chances Casino Fort St. John for the From Crowd to Comedian Stand-Up Comedy Show, featuring professional comedians Ned Townsend, Lars Callieou, and Doug Chappel, along with performances from participants of our From Crowd to Comedian workshop.

Meet the Comedians

Ned Townsend

Tasmanian comedian Ned Townsend has been performing for more than 15 years across Australia and internationally. He has supported comedians including Randy Feltface, Daniel Muggleton, and Jim Jefferies, and has performed at major comedy festivals in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. Known for his energetic storytelling and offbeat humour, Ned keeps audiences hooked from start to finish.

Lars Callieou

Fort St. John-born comedian Lars Callieou has performed across Canada and internationally, with credits including Just for Laughs, The Comedy Network, and CBC. Known for his energetic stage presence and seasoned stand-up style, Lars will also lead the From Crowd to Comedian workshop before returning to the stage for the showcase.

Doug Chappel

With more than 28 years of experience, award-winning comedian Doug Chappel has performed in more than 20 countries around the world. His credits include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Adelaide Fringe Festival, and he has shared the stage with comedians including Chris Rock, Jim Jefferies, and Ronny Chieng. Doug is known for his sharp wit, infectious energy, and relatable humour.
