Described as Blue Collar Retro, this 4-piece band combines gritty rock and roll with West Coast folk. Filled with dance-able rhythm sections and groovy guitar solos, this honest working-class rock will return you to your roots. As musicians, Friday Night Fires are devoted to their craft and evolving style. This has led to their sound being a medley reminiscent of The Killers’ top-charting anthems, The Glorious Sons’ gritty vocals and Arkells’ clap-along beats. Expect to see a charismatic live show from 4 small-town boys.

Now based in Vancouver, Chris Kelly and Nicole Gibson met in Montreal, at a merch table while both fronting their own bands. They began collaborating by making duo versions of popular songs on

YouTube.
After acquiring over a quarter million views on their videos and over half a million plays on Sound Cloud they realized the potential in writing their own original music. 

There first track 'Out of The Dark' was released in April 2017, they then self-released their debut EP ‘Out of the Dark’ single by single which was a finalist in multiple international songwriting competitions.

“We write whenever we feel inspired by a certain event, a person, an emotion or just life in general, whatever triggers a song.”

The majority of all proceeds made from their music goes to a variety of feline foster and adoption services across Canada.
