Friday Main Stage: First Worst Date

First Worst Date is an immersive experience where each audience member goes on a series of "dates" with a variety of kooky characters all vying for your (fake) affection. These characters aren't your typical dating pool, but they are definitely single and looking to mingle. Join us for an immersive dating show the size of a cocktail table, but longer than it probably should be.

Want to share this experience with someone? Tickets bought in pairs of 2 or 3 have the option of remaining together throughout the experience. Let us know at the event start time if you would like to remain together!

Please note that all participants will be required to sign our participant agreement document at the beginning of the event. The agreement can be read in advance here.  

First Worst Date: An Immersive Improv Experience Participant Agreement 

Please read all of the following carefully. Showing up at your scheduled show time constitutes acceptance of these terms.

All participants must be 18 or older to participate.

• I acknowledge that all ticket holders are over the age of 18.

First Worst Date is a fake dating experience. As a result, actors will be connected with participants without consideration for dating preferences such as gender, orientation, height, common interests, etc. This is not a real date. 

• I understand that I will be paired up with a wide variety of characters for a fake date (or dates), and that no consideration for my real preferences will be part of the experience. 

This show features live actors you will be interacting with in person. Our actors will not intentionally touch you. Under no circumstances may you touch an actor unless they instruct you to do so. If you touch an actor without permission, you will be immediately removed from the property without refund.

We reserve the right to turn away any party when, at our sole discretion, any number of its members appear to be impaired or acting in an unsafe manner. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

You agree not to damage, destroy, or remove any props, scenery, or equipment, whether intentionally or through negligence.

• I agree to follow the rules of the experience, and to act in accordance with those rules throughout the experience. 

The Kinkonauts are committed to providing a physically and psychologically safe environment free of discrimination, harassment, and abuse, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, feel empowered to advocate for themselves and others and have equal access to support and opportunities.

If we see any such behaviour that violates our commitment to creating a safe environment, we will intervene. Any abusive or discriminatory behaviour may be grounds for removal from a Kinkonauts event and multiple instances of such behaviour may result in a seasonal or permanent ban from all Kinkonauts events.
