We are so excited to welcome you to the 49th Canmore Folk Music Festival from August 1–4, 2026! Nestled in the stunning mountain setting of the Bow Valley, our festival offers an unforgettable three-day weekend of world-class live music, community connection, and mountain magic. Held annually over the long weekend in August, we welcome over 5,000 attendees daily. By joining us, you’re also supporting a not-for-profit society dedicated to building community through music, organizing events year-round, and supporting music education and artist development in the Bow Valley.
