Join us in celebrating students in the Faculty of Nursing who have completed their programs in April 2026! 🎉

📍 Hosted by: MacEwan Canadian Nursing Students Association

📅 When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 12:00PM-3:00PM

📍 Where: The Lookout, second floor of the Students Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) building, 10850 – 104 Ave. Edmonton, AB T5H 0S5

This Spring Court of Recognition is a celebration of all nursing students who completed their programs in April 2026 — your hard work, achievements, and the incredible journey ahead in your careers! 🩺✨ It’s a chance to celebrate with your peers and mentors, have an afternoon of fun, and create connections with your future colleagues!

*Students who missed the Winter Court of Recognition, or those whose programs were modified since their original start in Fall 2022 are also welcome to join. Please reach out to macewan@cnsa.ca if you are unsure if you are able to attend this event. 

🌟 What to Expect:

🍽️ Light refreshments: tea sandwiches, fruit and vegetables, assorted small desserts and snacks, coffee and tea.

🎓 A few keynote speeches

🧷 A call to the stage and presentation of a pin

🎱 Opportunities to mingle with peers, friends, faculty, and other guests

TICKETS:

🎟️ Pricing: $20 per ticket (Plus Fees)

✅ Ticket Sales: Priority tickets will first be open to students and Faculty, from now until April 4. From April 4-April 18, tickets will be open to anyone - friends, family, and others. Ticket sales will end on April 18 at 2359, or once the ticket cap is reached. 

⚠️ Seating Info: Seating will be assigned and posted on the day of the event.

FAQ: 

  • What is included in the ticket price? 
    • Your ticket includes access to the event, light refreshments and beverages, a custom CNSA nursing pin with your completion year, and an afternoon of celebration!  
  • What should I wear?
    • Formal attire is not required, but most attendees may dress up for the event, especially for photos!
  • Can I bring a guest?
    • Tickets will first be open to students and Faculty, from March 28-April 11. From April 11-April 18, tickets will be open to anyone.
  • How will the event run? 
    • The event will start with some introductions and key note speeches, and will proceed to the recognition and pinning of students. Students will be called up one at a time to receive their pin on stage and have their photo taken. There will be photo opportunities and time for food and mingling before and after the presentations.
  • Do I have to stay the whole time?
    • No, you don’t have to stay the entire time. You’re welcome to leave once your name has been called, or whenever works for your schedule. 
  • Is parking available?
    • Yes, there is plenty of parking available at and around MacEwan. 
  • Can I still recieve a pin if I cannot attend?
    • Yes, please purchase the ticket option entitled "Pin Only." You may choose to pick up in person in coordination with CNSA or have your name read and have someone receive your pin in your place during the event if preferred.
  • Will there be diverse food options available?
    • Yes! There will be gluten free and vegetarian options.
