Join us as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of one of the greatest albums of all time, Stevie Wonder's Songs in The Key Of Life! Musical director Michael Occhipinti and members of the band Soul Stew will provide the backing as these great musicians put their own stamp on Stevie's iconic music.
Michael Dunston has spent decades entertaining internationally with sold out shows in Canada the USA The Hague
Australia Melbourne Sydney Perth and Brisbane. The Rochester jazz festival 23 years in a row The Sony centre The Kodak theatre Massy Hall and Roy Thompson Hall the last 4 years. Michael has also produced music that has been released worldwide and has written 4 songs for the upcoming movie Loanshark. He’s also had principal roles in Death Wish Tommy Boy and most recently The Boys soon to be released. Michael was also crowned jingle king in Canada in connection with countless commercials he’s sung for advertising.

Aphrose is a rising force in Canada’s soul/R&B scene, earning a 2025 JUNO Award nomination for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for her critically acclaimed sophomore release, 'Roses'. She is featured on the 2026 GRAMMY Award-winning
album Immersed by Justin Gray and became a Recording Academy (GRAMMY) and CARAS (JUNO) voting member in 2025. Blending R&B and Neo-Soul with vintage warmth and a modern edge, she creates timeless, emotionally resonant music that continues to captivate audiences at home and abroad.
Lester McLean
Lester McLean is one of Toronto’s most dynamic frontmen, a powerful lead vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who plays saxophone, guitar, and percussion. His unique soulful sound draws equally on the funk and soul of artists like Stevie Wonder and his love of acoustic songwriters such as Neil Young. The result is an artist who can take an audience from an intimate acoustic whisper to a full on electric funk jam.
Lester has released three albums under his own name, Best Foot Forward, LM 4,3,2,1, and A Mostly A Capella Christmas. Lester was a member of the funk fusion band Colour of Soul, and is the long-time lead vocalist for Toronto party band Grooveyard. He has performed with Maestro, Jacksoul, Trey Anastasio, Colin James, Divine Brown, Ron Sexsmith, Dan Hill, and Jim Cuddy.
Soul Stew
Veteran Toronto band Soul Stew featuring Michael Dunston
Formed in 1990 by Toronto first call studio musicians as a house band at the Bamboo, Soul Stew became the band synonymous with the College Street music scene with their 10 year long residency at the College Street Bar.
The musicians in Soul Stew have collectively and individually performed and recorded with The Boss Brass, Gorillaz, Bruce Cockburn, Paul Butterfield, The Parachute Club, Jane Bunnett, Holly Cole, Marc Jordan, Gino Vanelli, Tito Puente, Mary Margaret O’Hara, Aretha Franklin and Nelly Furtado, to name just a few.
Soul Stew plays a mixture of Blues, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Funk, a bit of reggae and a lot of Soul, recalling the classic sounds of the legendary recording bands (a la the Funk Brothers from the movie Standing in the Shadows of Motown) of Stax, Motown, The Philly Sound, The Meters, Muscle Shoals, and the Hi Rhythm section of Memphis.
AMMOYE Her music - a fusion of reggae, dance hall and R&B - brings meaningful lyrics, focusing on love,, empowerment and social justice.
