This relaxed group experience is a great way to step away from the usual dating scene, enjoy a scenic walk, and connect with new people through easygoing conversation and shared experiences.

◉ What to Expect: 

• A casual, hosted group hike
• Scenic views along the Humber River
• A relaxed and low-pressure way to meet local singles
• Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of walking

◉ Important Information:

• 📍 Meeting Location: Rutherford Road Trailhead Parking Lot. It’s on Rutherford Rd, just east of Islington Ave. (There is a free parking lot right at the trailhead).
• Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• Ages 30+
• Park admission is not included and must be paid separately — $12 at the gate or $10.50 in advance at parkvisit.ca. (We suggest you wait until the hike is confirmed the day prior to buy your admission ticket online.)

• Comfortable walking shoes
• A bottle of water
• Bug spray and sunscreen
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• An open mind and positive energy

The hike will be confirmed the day before the event, and we will monitor weather conditions leading up to it. In the event of inclement weather, the hike may be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend the new date, a credit will be applied toward another Single in the City event. Refunds will not be issued for weather-related rescheduling.

• Once a ticket is purchased for this activity, there will be no refunds issued. Tickets are transferrable.
• If a cancellation is made due to weather conditions no refund will be issued, and a credit will be applied toward another event.
• Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; by attending this event, you knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.

• Single in the City isn’t liable for guests’ behaviour at this event, please drink responsibly
• In order to receive your receipts/confirmations from SITC, please be sure to add us to your Safe or Allow list by accepting all emails that end in @singleinthecity.ca otherwise you may not receive our emails due to high potency spam blockers by your service provider.
• Cancellations for this event must be made 5 business days prior to an event in order to receive a credit. We do not credit or refund for illness or last-minute cancellations, however, tickets can be transferred to another person (for same event only). We do not offer refunds for cancellations.
