Plotting a novel is an art which can be mastered. From a compelling beginning to a satisfying conclusion, the goal is always to keep the reader engaged. The art of screenwriting offers a useful model for novelists concerned with structure. Dixon, who is both a novelist and a screenwriter, will share key tips and ideas and show you how to apply them to your prose.

He lives in Calgary.
