Guided Walking Tours at The Confluence 

Dates: Wed-Sun starting June 3, 2026 
Times: 10:30 am & 2 pm 
Cost: $20-25 (includes tour and admission to The Confluence Cultural Centre) 
Ages: 12-16+ 

The Confluence offers walking tours Wednesday through Sunday at 10:30 am and 2 pm until October. These tours change daily and will cover a mix of our most popular tours covering a range of topics, stories and perspectives — from the history of Calgary’s formation and colonialism to stories of communities and people often overlooked by history books.

Hangings, Homicides, and History Walking Tour

Think you know all of Calgary’s most frightening stories? Go beyond ghosts and hauntings and delve into the real, chilling tales of murder, executions and the history of the prisons at historic Fort Calgary. Get your true crime fix and shed light on the grim realities of the city's early days in this outdoor tour to some of the most disturbing locations across the parkland at The Confluence. 

The tour will cover disturbing topics typical for true crime content and therefore is recommended for ages 16 and up.
