Former Lovers:

Former Lovers are a band from Saskatoon (by way of Prince Albert) making big noise with even bigger feelings. With LJ Tyson on vocals, Cale Hretsina on drums, and Colin Klassen on guitar, they blend nostalgic vibes with a modern edge—think 90s rom-coms, your dad’s old mixtapes, and the kind of confessions you only make on long drives.

Ginger Beef:

Proudly representing Calgary (AB) like their namesake dish, Ginger Beef is the JUNO-nominated instrumental pop collaboration of the husband and wife team of virtuosic flutist Jiajia Li and veteran producer/multi-instrumentalist Warren Tse (AKA MSG). Pulling from jazz-adjacent retro rock and Chinese influences, East meets West as this pop artifact balances catchy melodies and deep grooves. As celebrated as Ginger Beef’s debut album and cheeky music videos are, it’s in their live show that the band dazzles the crowd with musical acrobatics and joyous instrumental performances.

Go Bwah:

A manic disco-punk racket in three pieces from Saskatoon, Go Bwah is simply described as the B-52's meets the Rages Against the Machines. Add a little Pixies dust and get lost in something too weird to live, too rare to die. Go forth and Bwah!
