Circle Committee serves up pickleball fun

The Circle Committee invites you to join them at the EVP Center for an evening of pickleball—the fastest growing sport in North America.

 When and where?

Saturday, September 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. (arrive by 5:45 p.m.) at the EVP Centre (9455 45th Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB).

Event details

This adult-only event is open to all Alberta Blue Cross® team members. Team members are welcome to bring one guest (18+).

• Teams of 2 will play in a round robin format against different teams throughout the evening.
• Your team will play at the level of the highest caliber player on your team.
• There will be prizes.
• Dress comfortably and bring a separate pair of clean indoor gym shoes to wear on the court (no outdoor footwear allowed on courts).

 There are 2 ways to sign up

1. Sign up as a duo with a co-worker or guest. Your guest must be at least 18 years old. Be sure to choose a team name for sign up and that your duo partner, if they are a co-worker, uses the same team name when signing up.
2. Sign up as a single and the Circle Committee will assign you a teammate.

 Note: all teams consist of 2 people. The Circle Committee will do their best to accommodate team requests. When signing up as a team, provide your team name during the registration process. Purchase your ticket by Monday September 7, 2026.

 Ticket info

• Tickets are on sale from August 17, 2026 until September 7, 2026.
• Tickets are $10 per person for Circle Committee members (maximum 2 tickets; one for you and one for a guest).
• Tickets are $16 per person for non-members (maximum 2 tickets; one for you and one for a guest).

Tickets include the round robin play and your rental equipment (racquet and balls). Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have any concerns, please contact Shaun Kozun.

 Additional event details

Games start at 6 p.m. Please arrive and check in no later than 5:45 p.m. You can arrive any time after 5:30 p.m. to check in and receive your court assignment.

A concession with food and beverages will be open for purchase. Note that your ticket does not include complimentary food or beverages.
