Canadian politics is at a crossroads, faced with both foreign interference and aggression, and crumbling institutions from within. Respected authors and political commentators take the stage to address the threats undermining Canadian democracy and sovereignty, and discuss solutions for our survival. Andrew Coyne’s The Crisis of Canadian Democracy is a powerful wake-up call, revealing a parliamentary structure eroded by unaccountable leaders, disempowered MPs, manipulated elections, and systemic dysfunction. Patrick Lennox worked to counter foreign interference for over a decade; in On Treason, he investigates how the Alberta separatism movement has been aided and abetted by foreign actors and targeted disinformation. Carol Off takes us on a journey through Canadian history in True Patriot Love, weaving it with personal experiences to offer a clear-eyed perspective on the future of our country.
