Description
It’s Hockey Night at the Vancouver Writers Fest, where our stage will be graced by two legends who paved the way for women’s hockey in Canada. As the longest-serving captain in Canadian women’s hockey history, Cassie Campbell-Pascall was the first of any gender to lead the country to two Olympic gold medals. Jennifer Botterill debuted as the youngest player on Team Canada at the first Olympics for women’s ice hockey, going on to win three gold medals. After retiring from the game, both women have continued to set records and advocate tirelessly for the future of women’s hockey. They’ll discuss life on and off the ice, in an inspiring conversation about how to give your all to any sport or passion.
