Multi-award-winning author Ruth Ozeki returns with a spellbinding story collection that will delight longtime fans—along with those who have yet to discover her philosophically witty, deeply compassionate work, including novels such as The Book of Form and Emptiness and A Tale for the Time Being. Spanning eras and geographies, the razor-sharp stories in The Typing Lady explore childhood ambition, youthful desire, midlife reinvention, and the unsparing clarity of old age.
