Description
Are you enjoying the summer bounty of your vegetable garden, fruit trees and/or produce from the local farmer's market? Do you want to enjoy this harvest long into the winter months? If so, this workshop is for you! Guest speaker, Lori Neufeld will share her experiences with food dehydration, juicing and canning. Discover how easy food preservation can be and the techniques to ensure it is done safely! Note: the workshop will be moved inside the Library if the weather conditions are poor.
All attendees will be entered into a draw for a fun door prize of a case of 12 Mason Jars and a kitchen green bin!

This session is part of the monthly Okotoks Green Living Workshop series. These family-friendly. hands-on workshops focus on the various things we can do at home and around Okotoks to live in balance with nature.
