Focus Your Audio (Vancouver) // http://focusyouraudio.ca

FYA was built on a crossroads of two colliding paths. Standing there facing each other, a framework of effortless collaboration started to quickly take shape. Stepping back Sarah & Bobby began marvelling at this beautiful structure of moving acoustic guitar riffs, coupled with poetic lyrics that bare heart and soul. They decided to venture off the roads that led them to each other and create a path where there was none. After founding and working the last 3 years in Modern Day Poets, Bobby immediately went to work on Focus. “ Being in Modern Day Poets was a great experience and I enjoyed every minute, but something was missing, now I’ve come to realize what that is. This project is what I’ve been waiting for.” Having spent her childhood involved in her family band, Sarah spent much of her time writing and collaborating with those closest. After taking a break from performing, Sarah relocated to Vancouver and began a musical partnership with Bobby, blossoming into a duo that was a perfect match in every way. Together Focus Your Audio brings an experience of songwriting and musicality that is often left behind in today’s fast pace society. Melodic vocals and heartfelt guitar leave the audience wanting more.

The new album, "A Safe Harbor for Wayward Echoes" is being released on Megaforce Records, and features artists like Ben Harper who called the album "as much beauty as can be fit in the human sonic experience". Grammy winning musician and producer Sheldon Gomberg helped to artfully compile the songs into one of the best works of Tobias the Owl to date.

Alexis Lynn (Vancouver) // https://fanlink.to/alexislynn_promises

With her debut single “Promises”, available now on all streaming services and available for radio download on DMDS, 19-year-old Alexis Lynn is showcasing the powerhouse talent that she possesses. With a modern pop/R&B blended with instrumental hip-hop undertones, “Promises” does not disappoint in the dynamics of Alexis Lynn’s powerful presence. Produced in Los Angeles by Daniel Simmons and written by Alexis Lynn and Ele Ivory, “Promises” is also the official debut of Alexis Lynn as a songwriter.

Launching her career in 2015, Alexis Lynn has achieved notable recognition for her talent, before the official professional music release. Winning “Best Original Song” and “Audience Favourite” at The Star Experience Songwriting Competition, chosen as a Top 10 finalist for the “She’s The One” competition held at Ottawa Bluesfest and being chosen as one of ten acts to perform at Launch Festival Vancouver, 2015 was enamoured with the incredible talent that is Alexis Lynn. Furthering 2016 and 2017 by the acknowledgement of being a Top 20 Under 20 talent in the 2016 CBC Searchlight Contest, a 2016 Fraser Valley award- nominee, and being noted as a “One to Watch” from national music blog “The Reviews Are In,” following her 2017 Indie Week showcase performance, Alexis Lynn continues to shine.

With her debut single now released, Alexis Lynn is back working, and preparing her brand new EP, which is guaranteed to be full of powerful and emotional lyrics, paired with a vibrant, new sound.
