Collaborators since 1989, Shawna Dempsey and Lorri Millan are among Canada's most well-known performance artists. They were most recently part of the team selected for the winning design of “Thunderhead,” a national 2SLGBTQIA+ monument currently being built in Ottawa. 

Described by Guy Maddin as "the iron fist of feminism in a fun-fur glove," their impressive filmography includes numerous classics that will be screened as part of this program.
