From humble beginnings in 2004 outside Detroit, MI and thru the gamut of the independent music industry, unyielding passion always precedes the sound. Combining blood pumping anthems, melodic hooks, and soulful grooves, Filmspeed thrives on the live music experience. “Naturally, our influences range anywhere from The Chilli Peppers to Nirvana and Weezer, plus modern rock acts like Alexisonfire, FIDLAR and fellow Kelowna Rock band – The Wild!

We’re all pretty different but we’ve managed to find a way to tie it all together in a way where everyone still gets their sound out essentially giving us our own. That’s where a (producer) Chris Holmes has really been a great asset.” says Jason.

Kelowna’s edgy alternative rock band The Fallaways bring you it all with their single ‘I got you’.

The Song was premiered on the Okanagan’s Power 104 & as the featured song of the week.

This 4 member band holds a dedication that is not often found in such a young act.

Thus, they have quickly gained attention in their hometown, and now taking this into Vancouver as part of The Best In Vancouver Band Competition 2016.

The excitement of ‘I got you’, the first track of a five song EP, was captured by renowned producer / engineer Chris “Hollywood” Holmes (Korn) The Fallaways and Chris are completing the more songs for the collection that will go live in early 2017.

Musically they came together in late 2015 the BC band is headed by singer/guitarist Jason Koster, alongside bassist Trevor Walker, drummer Josh Ertman and guitarist Devon Lencucha.

Wise Youngblood is a hard-hitting, high octane rock group from Vancouver Island reminding everyone that Rock N’ Roll can never die. With a fusion of the west coast grunge the boys grew up on and some southern blues roots Wise Youngblood has crafted a signature sound that separates them from the pack. The group’s sound starts with lead vocals that carry you through every emotional detail of each song keeping you singing along every time. Rumour Mill is an up-and-coming band based in Vancouver, BC, headed by best buds Aline Daigle and Anna Katarina. These Kootenay girls go way back to preschool, graduating high school and college together. Recently, they made the big move to beautiful Vancouver, BC where they are recording their debut album at Blue Light Studio. ‘Daylight’s Free’ will be released in September 2018.

With catchy melodies, soulful harmonies and skillful songwriting, Rumour Mill will sweep you off your feet with its unique indie-pop sound!
