This course is designed to complement our Life Drawing classes by providing more detailed teaching.

Depictions of the human figure have been a crucial vehicle for creative expression in every human civilization. Building on Intro to Figure Drawing (offered last year), Figure Drawing 2 takes your understanding to the next level.

In this online course, Clement Yeh will teach students  the fundamentals of the skeletal and muscular systems, and how to integrate this knowledge into more dynamic gestures and refined, finished figure drawings. Working in graphite and conte, students will explore anatomical structure to enhance realism and expressive strength in their work.

Prior figure drawing experience is strongly recommended for this course.
