Imagine waking up and suddenly not being able to walk to the bathroom. Or opening your eyes in the morning to find you lost your vision as you slept. It's your body shutting itself down, fighting itself. Between waking up and eventually falling asleep, you spend almost every waking moment fighting fatigue, battling brain fog, and constant physical uncertainty. This is Multiple Sclerosis. And this is the life of feisty, first-generation Polish-Canadian Patrycia Rzechowka.
Multiple Sclerosis has alarmingly high rates of diagnosis across North America, 75% of which are women. Patrycia is a leader, warrior, ambassador, advocate, philanthropist, and a determined, compassionate soul. To live as "normal" a life as possible, to just be loved and create her own family, is all she really wants. But when faced with events that would challenge even the strongest of us, will Patrycia bend or break when things become unbearable as she hits the darkest time in her life?
