Curated by Wakefield Brewster of Page2StageProductions, "February in August" was created in 2022 to recognize the significance of an all-Black Artistic Production, outside of the typical calendar norm of February, Black History Month. Furthermore, the event is held as far from Black History Month as possible, in August, a month that is polar opposite, half-a-year away.
One Revolution ‘round the sun and it’s returned in 2023, with more of the same, all that is different, and Beautifully Black.
Recommended audience: 14+
