Bird Bath Bash (After-Party)

Registration Process

When you arrive at Birdsong Centre, follow the colour-coded feather lines to your check-in station. Show your ticket and receive your feather pin.

2. Scarlet Macaw – large, brilliantly red parrot
3. Keel-billed Toucan – known for its rainbow-colored bill
4. Blue-crowned Motmot – long tail with “racket” tips
5. Clay-colored Thrush – Costa Rica’s national bird

6. Great Currasow – large pheasant-like bird, often on the forest floor
7. Montezuma Oropendola – nests hang like woven baskets
8. Turquoise-browed Motmot – often seen perched with long tail feathers
9. Collared Aracari – a small toucan with a distinctive bill
10. Green Honeycreeper – small, bright turquoise bird
11. Fiery-throated Hummingbird – iridescent with a glowing throat
12. Rufous-tailed Hummingbird – common and feisty
13. White-throated Magpie-Jay – bold, blue, and often noisy
14. Black Guan – turkey-like and found in highland forests
15. Slaty-tailed Trogon – colorful and quiet, found in lowland rainforest
16. Laughing Falcon – snake-eating raptor with a distinct call
17. Bare-throated Tiger Heron – often seen along rivers and wetlands
18. Yellow-throated Toucan – large and loud
19. Chestnut-mandibled Toucan – same species as above, different name in some areas
