Family Day

Spend Family Day exploring Canada’s military history in an interactive, engaging way at The Military Museums. This expanded 2026 program offers a full slate of hands-on activities and demonstrations for kids, teens and adults.

Families can join guided tours, learn from serving and retired CAF personnel, and experience live action displays throughout the day. Conservation experts will be available to talk about caring for personal artifacts, while reenactors help bring historic moments to life.

Young visitors can enjoy creative crafts, camo face paint, dog tag and bravery medal making, military-themed games and a scavenger hunt across the galleries.
