Online TOEFL Preparation Course FALL 2025

The TOEFL Preparation Course is an advanced-level, academic English and test preparation class. It was designed to help students increase and refine their English while preparing for a successful outcome on the TOEFL Test. Instruction will focus on developing speaking and listening skills including pronunciation and intonation. Students will also gain increased grammar knowledge and vocabulary development. Lessons will include the development of academic reading skills and strategies as well as the acquisition of good note-taking skills. The course will also focus on improving general writing skills and essay writing abilities necessary to score well on the TOEFL Test. In addition, students will learn test-taking skills and strategies that can help them succeed on the TOEFL and other exams. The class will involve active student participation. Because the class is limited to 15 students, those who attend will benefit from individualized attention to their specific needs and goals. The TOEFL Preparation Course is suitable for both new students and students who attended previous TOEFL sessions

 

A TOEFL Preparation textbook is required, details to be given on the first day of class; approximate textbook cost is $60.

• Session Dates: Sat., October 11th - Sat., December 6th, 2025 (No class on Sat. November 29th)
• 4 hours per week of online classes
  • 8 weeks/32 hours of instruction
