In light of this impending diminishing daylight, Zenith Mountain Guides and SkiUphill are launching a winter Knowledge Series to share some expertise to help you navigate your winter backcountry ski excursions.

Talk Description

Multi-day ski expeditions are complicated and your food and logistics can make or break your time in the mountains. Fly in basecamps require different strategies from roving basecaps and from traverses. Too much food weighs you down but not enough leaves you underpowered. Join Jen for an evening discussion on optimizing for expeditions.

About Jen

Jennifer Godbout (she/her) is known to many by her nickname Jibber. Is a backcountry split board guide, Search and Rescue member, and CAA avalanche educator based out of Whistler, BC. Transitioning from snowboard competitor, to coach, to CSGA guide seemed like a natural progression to avoid any chance of working indoors. Jen enjoys being of service in her community and mentoring the next generation of snow scientists and big mountain riders.
