Description
Electric vehicle adoption is accelerating globally, but not everywhere in the same way.
Canada and Germany are both major industrial economies with strong climate ambitions, yet their EV adoption paths look surprisingly different. Why?
Please join the German Canadian Business Association (GCBA) and the UBC German Student Association for an evening of insights featuring researchers and industry experts exploring the policies, infrastructure decisions, market forces, and consumer behaviours shaping EV adoption in both countries.
The event will begin with a short welcomepresentation, followed by a panel discussion with experts from industry and academia. After the discussion and audience Q&A, guests are invited to stay for a networking reception connecting students, researchers, and industry professionals.
Whether you work in mobility, energy, policy or technology, or are simply curious about the future of transportation, this event offers a unique cross-continental perspective.
