The Jura is the most secretive of all French wine regions. Tucked away in the French alps, Burgundy is just across the Saone River valley to the west. A treasure trove of grapes dig their roots deeply into blue marl, clay and limestone soils that distinguish the Jura; grapes like savignan, trousseau, poulsard along with neighbourly grapes chardonnay and pinot noir.
