Fort Berens is the first winery in Lillooet, one of BC's newest and most exciting wine regions. With nearly 40 acres of estate vineyards and a cabinet filled with regional, national and international wine awards, this is your opportunity to try some of their signature big reds and learn how the Lillooet terroir influences their wine. 

Join Alessandro (Alex) Nel, Winemaker and Mark Coster, Sales Manager from Fort Berens Estate Winery for a guided wine tasting and discussion about these big reds and learn how the Lillooet terroir influences their wines. During this seminar, you’ll be able to taste for yourself why their award-winning winemaker has helped the winery receive significant recognition including being named #3 Small Winery in Canada, at the 2022 Wine Align National Wine Awards of Canada.

Alex and Mark will take you through a selection of 100% estate grown Fort Berens wines including:

• Small lot Merlot 2021
• Cabernet Franc Reserve, one of Fort Berens’ signature varietals including the 2020 vintage which won a prestigious Lieutenant Governor’s Platinum Wine Award
• Meritage Reserve, featuring a blend of varietals grown from both of their estate vineyards
• Red Gold, their highly regarded, ultra premium red blend made with the top barrels from their cellar
