Description
Opeongo:
Opeongo is the moniker of Keegan Trumpour and an ever-rotating cast of musicians. Hailing from Midland, Ontario, Opeongo has released three LP’s, of which 2024’s “Eventual Mt. Lee” is the latest. A new album is set to be released this year. / Instagram
Sam the Living:
Sam the Living (the self-proclaimed sad prince of the prairies, now based in Toronto) is an eclectic singer-songwriter who turns small domestic disasters and dissociative episodes into thoughtful, affecting songs. Blending seventies soft rock with contemporary indie folk, his ethereal, brooding voice carries stories of almost-love, hunger, heartache, and absurd reflection. As melancholic as it is playful, Sam’s music invites listeners to sit with the mess, hum through the sting, and notice how even the smallest wounds can hold the most tenderness. / Instagram
