BJU Hosts: Varna International's Don Giovanni

BJU is proud to host Varna International's production of Don Giovanni. This external event is not part of Bob Jones University's Concert, Opera, and Drama Series.

Considered W. A. Mozart's supreme opera and one of the greatest operas of all time, Don Giovanni is a masterful combination of comedy, romance, thriller, and drama. Follow the Spanish aristocrat as he flirts, fights, and flaunts his way through a life of questionable moral choices and learns his ultimate fate. Expect to laugh, to cry, to be on the edge of your seat, and to fall madly in love in this masterpiece about the flamboyant Spanish legend. This 2024 Muzika! festival highlight features beautifully staged sets, elaborate cultural costumes, acclaimed soloists from across the nation, and Maestro Gregory Buchalter of The Metropolitan Opera conducting our festival orchestra. We are excited to announce that Greenville's own Megan Stapleton will be featured in the role of Donna Elvira.
