Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to a special book presentation featuring Efrén C. Olivares, an immigrant, author, and Immigration Human rights Lawyer.

Olivares will discuss his award-winning book, My Boy Will Die of Sorrow: A Memoir of Immigration from the Front Lines, a compelling narrative that blends his personal immigration journey with his work as a human rights lawyer advocating for immigrant families in South Texas.

Estudiantes, profesores, personal administrativo y miembros de la comunidad están invitados a una presentación especial del libro de Efrén C. Olivares, inmigrante, autor y abogado de derechos humanos para inmigrantes.

Olivares hablará sobre su premiado libro, "My Boy Will Die of Sorrow: A Memoir of Immigration from the Front Lines" (Mi hijo morirá de tristeza: Memorias de la inmigración desde la primera línea), una conmovedora narración que combina su experiencia personal como inmigrante con su labor como abogado de derechos humanos que defiende a familias inmigrantes en el sur de Texas.
