DISSOLUTION 1: The first instalment of a new sound series skirting the far reaches of outsider music, noise, electronics, and post-punk.

Featuring:

M01E alternative holistic health service manifests from meditative practice of the UBC Cry Club.

B.R.A.C.E. surfacing from Crace Mountain, Harbour City, for their first Vancouver show incl. members of Shearing Pinx, Eye Labia, Holy Boredoms.

MATTRESS U.S.A. returning to doff his legendary golden cape for a blown out variety show of crushing blows.

MASS MARRIAGE industrial noise project of Mel Paget features heavy soundscapes accompanied by harrowing vocals.

ASTER DAWN celebrates their 7th release since the project’s inception in 2023, an EP of improvised guitar entitled ‘Prepare to Meet god.’

SOUND EFFECTS live debut of the new noise rock project screaming in from Tom Whalen aka Tommy Tone.

OPPONENT PROCESSES (DJ) sets the mood between sets and to close out the night with her signature blend of dark and subtly-abrasive yet dancefloor-ready sounds.

We practice the policy NOTAFLOF specifically to allow access to folks negatively impacted by gentrification projects within the DTES community. If you are a student or low income worker, please consider saving up for the next show as the artists and KW staff are also low income workers. 

Located 111 West Hastings Street Vancouver. Look for the KW sign off Hastings Street for the entrance.

KW Studios is an accessible venue. Folks in need of an elevator can access one through the lobby entrance. Accessible bathrooms are available downstairs. KW events are both auditory and visual. 

 

This event takes place on the unceded and occupied homelands of the Coast Salish peoples of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We are immensely grateful for being allowed to continue to live, work, and play on these lands.
