FEATURING:
Aaron Read
Aaron Read is an award-winning stand up comic and improviser from so-called vancouver, canada. His comedy wedges itself somewhere between sad-silliness and freaky psychedelia, and has garnered him numerous awards including Just For Laughs North West’s, Breakout Artist Of The Year and Toughest Act To Follow.
Starting comedy in highschool Aaron has been confusing and delighting audiences for more than fifteen years! He’s performed on The Next Wave of Stand Up on CBC and New Faces Of Comedy at The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He even garnered this fun blurb from country/comedy publication Parton and Pearl saying, “He’s the alt-comedy of the early 2000s for today’s quick thinking comedy nerds”.
Live comedy is where he is most at home, performing on Andy Kindler’s Alternative Show, and opening up for Jena Friedman (Comedy Central). Woof, Bio done! Just come watch Aaron tell jokes about depression and barfing dream snakes.
