Step into Between Worlds, an unforgettable Día de los Muertos celebration where Festival Place comes alive with the powerful sound of mariachi, vibrant Mexican folklórico dance, and the traditions and energy of Mexico.

Led by Mariachi Loco, this multidisciplinary production brings together 18 Edmonton-based musicians, dancers, and artists for a dynamic celebration of Mexican music and culture. Rooted in Día de los Muertos traditions, the evening honours those who came before us while celebrating the music, dance, and cultural traditions that continue to bring generations and communities together.

Experience a 9-piece mariachi ensemble, traditional and contemporary Mexican folklórico choreography, special guest artists, and a beautifully created Día de los Muertos ofrenda honouring the lives and memories of loved ones.

The celebration begins before you enter the theatre, with Mexican food, local vendors, art, and cultural experiences welcoming guests before the performance.
