Desautels Faculty of Music & School of Art Homecoming

Homecoming is a time-honoured University of Manitoba tradition that brings alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the community together to celebrate what it means to be part of the Herd.

Kick off the festivities on Wednesday, September 23, with an evening of concerts and interactive art demonstrations showcasing the talent of students and faculty from the Desautels Faculty of Music and the School of Art.

Explore our facilities at your own pace in a choose-your-own-adventure-style experience. Enjoy live performances by talented music students and faculty, and try your hand at a variety of art demonstrations, including photography, drawing, printmaking, and more. 

The celebration continues on Saturday, September 26, at the Bisons Block Party. Enjoy live entertainment, Bisons Homecoming soccer and football games, a kids' zone, campus tours, faculty activities on the concourse, and much more. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.
